The temperature is finally cooling off and the air has a new freshness to it! It is fall time and you and the family want to get out and enjoy the weather and activities that fall bring.
Have a Saturday Picnic!
If the weather is perfect grab a blanket, your favorite sandwiches and snacks, and head outside! You can make this the biggest adventure of the week by driving to a location or simply enjoy in the yard!
Pick Pumpkins & Carve Pumpkins
You know this could not be left off the list of fall activities! Picking and carving pumpkins is a staple of every fall. Make sure to set a budget for all the gourds you want to bring home.
Corn-Maze
Visiting and experiencing a corn maze is one of my favorite fall activities! If your family has not done this I would strongly encourage you to do this. If you love competition, see which family member or team of family members can make it out first!
Sunday Drive
Although a classic tradition, experience the beauty that fall brings with it! Here in Tennessee we are lucky enough to have the Natchez Trace Parkway- this is a great place to roll the windows down, turn on the radio, and enjoy the views.
Roast Marshmallows
Some may say this is a summer activity, but why turn down a cozy fire and yummy treat? With the temperature down make sure to cozy up by a fire and roast some delicious marshmallows.
The Farm Bureau Health Plans family loves fall, and we hope you can find many reasons over these next few months to enjoy it too! We hope you and your family can safely enjoy some of the many fun fall traditions and activities!
